Precisely why the Celtics need to be sold to a charismatic and successful
owner. A guy who can sell the Massachusetts Legislature and the City
of Boston on the need for a new arena, and who will provide a quality
team on court. If the C's become championship contenders in the future,
it will be a lot easier to gain funding and acceptance for a new building.

If the Celtics of today broached the subject of a new arena, they'd be
laughed out of town.
