That is a good question. I have never really been sold on Fortson,
because he is simply a bull in a china shop. In the NBA of 10 years
ago, he would have been something. Like Greg Kite and John Salley
before him, he could have been a valuable starter (on the right team) and
certainly a good 6th man, who came in a banged the crap out of people on
his way to double doubles.
In today's NBA I don't see him staying on the floor long enough to be
valuable. He has no outside game, and just wants to put his head
down and drive. I see lots of walks, and lots of charging
fouls.
