RE: Brown May Be The New Pervis



I think the other thing about Brown is that he's not only a veteran, but a 
real leader-type.  Barros, Cheaney, Ellison, and Anderson were veterans,
 but they were and are all very low-key, self-contained types, deep 
thinkers who preferred to lead by example.  Brown is apparently much 
more of a vocal leader.  But then Frank Brickowski and Doug Overton 
were also very vocal; it doesn't really matter, because the guys they need
 to reach are the guys who don't hear anything that is said to them.  
You're already getting maxium effort from Eric, Walter, Vitaly, Adrian, 
and Blount.  Battie might be the only one on the fence.  All in all, I would
rather have had Vaughn for the exception.  What the hell ever happened 
to Mark Jackson?
