BEN PEPPER!!!

Hey all,

The season was on the line for the Victoria Titans as they took on the
Adelaide 36ers in the deciding third game of the NBL in Adelaide, a team
that the Titans had only achieved one win in their past five meetings in
their house.

However, a Victoria Titans team lead by superstar Harlem point guard,
Darryl McDonald, upset the reigning champion 36ers as the D-Mac hit a
dramatic two point jump shot plus one with under half a minute remaining
in the game.

Not to be done however was Boston Celtics draftee, Ben Pepper who head
coach, Brian Goorjian labelled the X Factor in the first half.

Pepper played his best game since injuring his hand mid-way through the
season, coming off of the bench to post ten of thirteen from the field
for twenty one exhilirating points adding to that were seven hard earnt
caroms, a nasty block and a lot of battle scars.

Pepper was absolutely brilliant. The Titans take on the Perth Wildcats,
the team owned by Andrew Vlahov (Australian Olympian) and Luc Longley
(Phoenix Suns center) in game one of the NBL Grand Final Series on
Friday at Melbourne Park.
