The two trades you mention are horrible and terrible,
respectively.  Trading Tony Battie and a lottery pick
for that washed up old he-man would be the dumbest
trade in league history.  Walker for him and McGrady
would only be defensible if McGrady was another Kobe,
and I don't believe he is.  A lot of NBA players
probably come into Boston (and LA, and Chicago and Ft.
Lauderdale) for a lot of reasons.  This is goofy,
IMHO.
