Re: Bill Russell coming back to help Celtics!!!



I can only hope that ALL of these young C's will listen to, if I can steal
one of the Rock's phrases, "THE GREAT ONE" as he passes on his experiences
to them.  Especially the commitment to winning.  Nobody gives a damn about
who led the league in assists, 3-point shooting, scoring or those stats.
Everyone takes note of who plays as a team and makes sacrifices for their
sake.

Russell personifies the word "TEAM".  I must say that I am almost as glad to
hear that he is happy to return to Boston in an effort to help.  There was a
time when some Bostonians were not so kind to him or his family.  The
passage of time appears to have healed some wounds.  That's EQUALLY
great!!!!!
