Re: News

1. I think it is pretty much known that the big name free agents have
not even considered Boston as a place to play: True =Turner is a lesser
known college player

2. Most veterans think Pitino's style is great for young kids, but is
too much for older players. Massenberg & Childs are good examples: True
= Turner is young

3. Turner will never provide scoring that Barros provides:
True = Turner is not a scoring point, he is a more of a get the ball to
Antoine, Pierce, Vitaly, and Forston type point, break down the opposing
teams defense to create easy shots.

4. and I am not sure he will work out any better at
the point than Chauncy Billups did. Point in the pros requires some real
quick decision making and unselfish play, one thing most points like
Kenny Anderson are not willing to live with: False = Billups was a I
need my 25 points and the other guys can watch me score type player.
Billups is like Barros, a two guard in a point guards body.

****Do we need a shoot first type point when you have Walker, Pierce,
Vitaly, Forston, Williams, and Battie on the team? Or do we need a
unselfish point that can create easy baskets for the Celtics on offense
and Play in your face on defense?
