According to the Boston Globe, Wayne Turner was hoping to hear from
the Clippers yesterday, but by day's end, there was no news. So, if
nothing pops up by tomorrow, he'll head to Cincinnati and join the IBL
team there. Turner's agent, Frank Catapano, said his client has an
offer to play in Europe, but Turner is not a scorer, and that's what
Europeans like in foreigners. ( Eric Washington is trying to land a
job in Italy or Greece.) Turner could earn around $70,000 with
Cincinnati. However, if any NBA team wants to call him up, they have
to pay the IBL team $50,000 to release Turner. That might be a hard
sell given that a CBA callup is a freebie
