Ironic Ron....

On a night that the Celtics have a win over the New York Pricks Ron
Mercer had one of his best games of his career.

Denver lost to the Portland Trailblazers in a disastorous game
highlighted by their 20ppg scorer, Ron Mercer's atrocious 2 for 11
shooting, he was quoted as saying "It was hard getting into a groove,
and I tried to pass the ball more."

Yes, Ron had one of his better passing games of his career, a game which
saw him shatter former New Jersey Nets center, Yinka Dare's breathtaking
record of 0 assists in a season, Ron finally in a game where he was
concentrating on trying to pass the ball had 1 assist while also having
2 turnovers.
