and so was last years' 6th Man of the Year/Most
Improved winner Darrell Armstrong, along with Anthony Mason, Charles Outlaw,
John Starks, Mario Elie....the list goes on...
These guys might not be marquee players but have
established themselves as integral parts of successful teams. Not saying Griffin
is at the level of the above players at their peak, but give the guy some
credit. One of the main reasons he has already won over fans and peers, is his
solid fundamentals and his ability to read the game and use his
head.
