I don't think it's that they don't learn to shoot,
it's just that they need to play the percentages to
get ahead in basketball, and generally they are so
superior physically to the guys they play that it
makes more sense to be a "slasher."  Few players will
actually turn down an open ten foot shot to take it in
against a prepared defender or defenders the way Eric
will, though.
