Philadelphia Inquirer: Battie For Rogers? Mercer Signed and Traded? (Brief)

                             <snips>
                             Don't believe him.

                             Rhode Island's 6-foot-11 sensation, Lamar
                             Odom, is going No. 1.

                             But Krause may be coaxed into dropping to
                             as low as No. 4 or No. 5 so he can get a
                             quality player and grab Duke's Corey
                             Maggette.

                             Expect Toronto, picking fifth, to choose
                             between UCLA's Baron Davis and Utah's
                             Andre Miller, both point guards. That
                             doesn't sound good for former Villanova
                             standout Alvin Williams.

                             And don't be surprised if a sign-and-trade
                             deal involving Clippers forward Rodney
                             Rogers for Boston's Tony Battie isn't done
                             soon as well. (Even if the Celtics are
                             planning on signing Ron Mercer, then
                             trading him.)
