Michael Holley On NECN

New England Cable News is where Michael Holley was last night.

- Holley said, Pitino needs someone who can tell him "no".
Pitino is too much of a gambler as a GM, and right now he's
down 50.

- Holley doesn't like the Potapenko trade; feels lottery teams should 
keep their draft choices = bargaining chips. Teams around draft time do 
stupid things, may want the choice and be willing to pick up a
bad contract.  However, if the draft pick
turns out tenth or eleventh, then the trade evens out.

- Holley on the draft: This year after the first few picks the
talent levels drops off. 

- Holley says of Chauncey Billups: Pitino believed at the time he was a 
shooting guard, but was convinced by his staff that he was a point guard.
