You say these things just get a rise out of people...don't you?
Well...OK...I'll bite...makes sense to me. It would at least be the best
thing for Walker. The fans/press would get off his back for a while and
start dumping on Spree, big time. Never a dull moment with Spree around.
How many "He's not a real Celtic," "character/cancer," "punk" posts do you
think we'd read after he took 25 shots/6 threes, and the team still lost.
But....he does push the ball. To be honest...Josh has a point...the guy's
game is perfect for the way Pitino wants to play. But....in Boston?

Gee...I don't know...last time I looked this was still America and people
don't have to have character flaws to want to "abandon" their employers. If
the guy wants to leave, maybe he has perfectly good reasons and...his
contract allows it.

>I think Master P may be the bad influence, but whatever

Now what has Master P ever done to you? Even if you assume the worst about
Mercer...what makes you think Master P has anything to do with it? Let me
suggest that if we can go from Mercer not being "upstanding" because he may
want to play somewhere else to Master P "may be the bad influence,"..... we
aren't ready for Sprewell.

You're probably right about this.
