RE: And why the Clippers

If have to disagree with you if you put Mercer, Walker and Pierce in the
league with Shaq, Hakeem & Duncan. None except Pierce in his brief stint,
has really shown any consistency, and Paul's come down to earth lately.
One night they score 30, the next can't throw it in the ocean. AW's as bad
as Shaq from the free throw line which will cost you a lot of close games,
if we have any. Toronto has kicked our butts twice this season. As for a
real 5, we are not going to land a Duncan, Mutombo, or any decent big man
for nothing. With stiffs making $8M-$10M a year, we are going to have to
move one of the big 4, or live with the likes of Riley, Schintzius, Nwoso,
Vrankovic, Kite, Kleine, etc getting killed nightly even by mediocre teams.
Serviceable 2's and 3's are abundant, 4's and 5's are not. We are a .500
team at the best , even with these 3 .

Someone mentioned Marbury not resigning, if there is any truth to this
Pitino should be offering Anderson & ? for him right now. Mchale shouldn't
let him walk without getting anything, and Anderson would probably be the
closest for kevin, unless someone else would be able to part with an
Iverson, Kidd, or comparable player. Make him sign an extension of course.
