Trade rumor

This doesn't concern the Celtics, at least not directly, but it would impact
one of their division rivals, the Nets. ESPN says Terrell Brandon and Elliott
Perry are being offered to Jersey in exchange for Sam Cassell, Chris Gatling
and Brian Evans. To me, this trade is a no-brainer. ET can score, but the Nets
really need a distributor, not a shoot-first type. Brandon is a stud, and even
though he has injury concerns, Perry (one of the best backup PGs in the
league, IMO) would be insurance. Plus, they also have Murdock, another of the
better backup points. Considering Gatling wants out of town and Evans is a
throw-in, Jersey would basically only be giving up Cassell for a better PG. I
don't see how Gatling fits into Milaukee's team since they already have
Robinson, Hill and Gilliam at the forward spots.
