That will probably be true if the Lakers do get those players and if the 
Spurs fail to improve their team.  l would think that they would be just as 
likely to attract a shooting guard to play for their exemption as LA is to 
get Oakley for the exemption.  You never know - Peter May's next rumor might 
be Mercer for Will Perdue. Nah, he's still fixated on Mashburn.
Come to think of it San Antonio might be just the place for Mashburn.

l doubt that packaging #37 with 55 gets you into the first round unless it's 
at the very end.  Pick #55 is practically an undrafted free agent.
