Master P

I don't think Master P's agency has successfully negotiated any contract yet. I
believe Heisman running back Ricky Williams is their first client, and he
(arguably) may have fallen a bit in the NFL draft because of his contract
demands. On the other hand, Master P is a dazzlingly successful
businessman/entertainer by any measure. I recollect reading last year that he
earned as much as Oprah and Seinfeld etc.....something like 50+ million dollars.

I guess the No Limits perspective/selling point is that "brothers" needn't hand
over 4% of their earning power to "whitey". Actually, I suspect the new CBA is
forcing established super agents (of whatever color) to forgo commissions on NBA
contract negotiations, as was the case with Antoine Walker and Ray Allen's
contracts. As I understand it, sports agents do provide a wide range of estate &
asset management as well as useful secretarial services and other hand-holding.
