Jaimie, I do give credit for the Knicks' play, I just don't know how they
did it.  I think Van Gundy is a fine coach, and he's been badly treated by
the owner, with the talks with Phil Jackson while the playoffs were going on
and his team was in them.  It must be hard for him to be coaching this way
with that fact hanging over him, even though it seems Jackson won't be going
to New York, from all reports.

Having said all that, the Spurs have pretty much swept the playoffs and you
have to be good to do that.  Unless the NBA really does have a fix going,
and I don't really buy that, the Spurs will win the championship and they
should, IMO.  Anyway, as a Celtic fan I can't bring myself to root for the
Knicks, the 76r's or the Lakers.  I just plain enjoy the way the Spurs play
the game.  If they were playing the Celtics, it would be a different story.
I'm not sure how the NBA will feel about a small market team winning it all,
but hey, why not?
