 DALLAS TALKING SIGN AND TRADE- A Dallas newspaper, and a ton of rabid
 Dallas fans, have flooded me with mail concerning a reported sign and
 trade deal involving Samaki Walker heading to Boston. If this deal is
 valid, which by all early indication it is, this closes the door on Vin
 Baker joining the Celtics, and likely siginals the departure of Ron
 Mercer. Celtics source confirm that Pitinio was very unsettled by
 Mercers comments about the extension he was offered, and say that
 Ellison and Mercer may be sent to Dallas. No actual specifics have been
 named, but this deal appears to be ready to go.
