Josh and Joe,
I have faith in Pitino that he'll really get something decent for
Mercer - Ray Mercer that is, Ron I'm not too sure about.
Nah, I'm just kidding, I think Ron will fetch something quite nice,
but I'm curious why people keep referring to him as a Ray Mercer?
I'm trying to recall if there was a boxer by that name.  Any ways,
it's good that Ron is perceived as having more value than a Jimmy
Jackson/Kelvin Cato combo or Stackhouse/Dele. It makes one long
for the beginning of August and all the anticipated trades that are 
supposed to take place.

PS: I wouldn't deal Mercer for Smith because of Smith's bad knees.
I'm wondering if the C's could hook with the very guard-bereft
Clippers. They have nothing in the backcourt and they keep drafting
frontcourt types. Odom can spot at shooting guard, but he's
going to be exploited quite merciliously at the defensive end....
