Here are some moves I still think could happen and quickly give the Celtics 
some depth.

Potapenko, Mercer, Popeye & Barros to Portland for Wallace, Rider, & 
Jackson.  Rider & Jackson will probably be gone as will Wallace if a decent 
offer comes around.

I'll take Wallace over V.P.


Then if R.P is still hell bent on getting Mashburn, whom I don't no if 
anyone else is, move Rider & McCarty to Miami for Mashburn & Voshon Lenard.

Then as someone else proposed try to reunite Anderson & P.J in a Anderson & 
Minor swap for Blaylock & Delk or maybe a big man (Foyle ?) .

Then the final feather convince Vin Baker to sign for the $2M exception.

New lineup

Blaylock/Delk
Jackson/Lenard/Delk/Clack
Pierce/Mashburn
Walker/Baker/Battie
Wallace/Baker/Battie/

May be a pipe dream,  but would definitely field a deeper, more competitive 
unit then today, especially if Jackson, Walker & Baker can return to their 
top form, & improve  their free throw shooting !
