And that would be Paul Pierce - Everyone else is trade bait including
employee number 8, Lobel said tonight -- with a lot of emphasis on
the Employee Number 8  part -- on his 11:25 sportscast.
Lobel who is on Channel 4 in Boston, has a good relationship with
Pitino, as he hosts Pitino's show during the Celtics season, and
I've heard him on 790 AM the Score in Providence, with Pitino's
pal Jersey Red.

It would be funny if Antoine were traded, but it would follow the
usual Pitino pattern of doing the opposite of what he's claimed.
Remember how he didn't want any young players from the recently
concluded draft, and then we come to find out, the C's were
interested in Jonathan Bender.  Well how many times has Pitino
spoken of how difficult it would be to trade Antoine because
of base salary compensation?  It's a regular mantra he keeps 
repeating.

Well, I'm not fooled.  It wouldn't shock me to see Antoine get dealt.
It would probably make a few people happy...

Of course, you could take this a step further and say Paul Pierce
is on his way out too, since Pitino keeps referring to him as
untouchable.
