Three-way-deal COMPLETED

Hey all,

ESPN International reported that the Tony Battie / Travis Knight deal
completed a three-way deal involving the Nuggets, Celtics and Lakers.

The Nuggets got Nick Van Exel, the Celtics got Tony Battie and the
Lakers got Travis Knight and Tyronn Lue.

That was the reason behind the Celtics being mentioned in the same
breath as a Nick Van Exel trade at draft time.

The reason it was completed now was that Pitino wouldn't have traded for
Battie if the CBA had prevented the Celtics from re-signing Antoine
Walker. When the CBA was agreed to and the C's could indeed re-sign
Antoine the deal was completed, but it was on the table the entire time.
