It was actually the Knicks who stepped in to abort the deal.  But latest 
reports says that Seattle and Portland are still tryin to undercut NY.  
I would rather see Spree stay in the West.  At any rate, am relieved 
that the Pierce-Mash trade didnt materialize.  Did Mashburn gave Pitino 
some sorta love potion?  When will this Mashburn fascination 
end????????????
