Ben Pepper

This might put Ben Pepper's potential in perspective by highlightling the
stats of an ex Celtic centre. Acie Earl is currently playing in the same
competition as Pepper, the Australian  NBL, for the celler dwellers Sydney
Kings. As of last week he was averaging 22.2 ppg and 12.9 rpg and 2.7bpg
and is considered one of the better centres in this competition.

Though Pepper probably plays less minutes he does not feature in the top
eight of any of these categories. He does however, shoot .584 fg%.
Considering that he didn't make the Australian squad for the last Olympic,
despite the absence of Luc Longley doesn't bode well for future Celtics
aspirations. IMO if he continues to improve he has the potential to be as
good as Chris Anstey of the Dallas Mavericks.

On another note I was curious to learn if Kevin Gamble was still playing in
the NBA?
