Here's the scoop and I quote from the article in Parade Magazine - “Help
Commemorate the 80's”
A year from now, the Postal Service will issue a sheet of 15 stamps
commemorating the 1980's. Next month (meaning this month, February) you
can vote at
http://stampvote.msn.com on
the Web or on a ballot at any post office. The top vote getters will
become stamps.
Now - under “Sports”, one of the choices is #15 - Lakers vs. Celtics (eight
NBA titles between them in '80's).
I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago on the list, so everybody - vote
either by visiting that site or at the post office.

I received an ad from the USPS for voting on your favorite 80's
stamp.
One choice is the Lakers v. Celtics stamp. Does it exist, or is
it a
possiblity based upon our votes. The text is something like:
"The Los
Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics dominated professional
basketball with
a thrilling rivalry that revived fan interest in the
NBA. Between them,
the teams won eight NBA championships during the
decade."
