I think the Celtics are much improved this year, mostly because they have 
options other than Walker.  Pierce, a more experienced Mercer, and Anderson 
for a full year should all help.  If Walker can take not being "the man" 
without poutin, and if Anderson's knees hold up, this could be a very good 
team...next year.

Center is the big problem, but maybe Pitino get lucky with 
Schintzius/Riley/DeClerq and come up with something that works.

I think the Celtics will win 28 games, and probably go out in the first round 
of the playoffs.  They might even pull an upset in the first round before 
getting bounced, but I doubt it.  Wait for 2000.
