NBC's "10 Greatest Moments in NBA History"
I've been watching/following the NBA for 36years now (since 1963) and I was
intrigued to see how NBC would come up with their subject(ive) list. Got to
admit, it would be hard for me to try to rank my own personal list. But I
knew, once they came out with Wilt's 100-point game at #2 and still had no
reference to the Bulls and/or Jordan up to that point that it was fait
accompli that Jordan would somehow
end up with "the Greatest Moment" in NBA history.
The shot that beats the Jazz out of 50+ years worth of professional
basketball archives ends up being "the Greatest Moment in NBA History"??? I
had to restrain myself from gagging. How self-serving of the Laker network,
excuse me, NBC, for selecting a moment (a very recent one at that) that they
- NBC - happen to broadcast. Is anyone else beside myself glad to see
Jordan's ass gone for good?
