See, this is the thing I find so damn hilarious about the knee-jerk
Walker-gitters. You compare him to Jerry Stackhouse. Have you happened to
notice the season the still-young Mr. Stackhouse is putting together?? Don't
you think people are feeling foolish know about writing him off? I'll give you
another name: Chris Webber. Every adjective people have been throwing at
Walker--immature, punk-ass, selfish, not a team player, not playing up to his
career stats -- were being hurled at Webber in Washington. Think the Blizzards
(or the Warriors) wouldn't take him back now? For God's sake, Stackhouse is
only 25 and Webber 26 -- their best years in the league are likely still ahead
of them -- yet they're still 2 and 3 yars older than Walker, who like them
came out of college as a sophomore.

and, despite being a diehard Toine apologist and supporter throughout his
first three seasons, I feel it's time he move on. I see a career dangerously
close to a Stackhouse spiral - a wasted talent viewed throughout the league
as a selfish, uncoachable problem.
