Re: Fantasy League

That is already shaping up like a formidable and interesting list of players.
I look forward to weekly updates on who among you will be able to deliver any
whup-ass on Noah, not to mention Jim Mennino's rag tag but eager French Lick
Beavers. Unfortunately, I've amply proven lately that I lack the player
personnel instincts (and have a pro-Celts bias) to compete in a fantasy league
of this caliber.

If the league were starting now with a totally fresh slate, I still wouldn't
bet on Walker in terms of a major statistical turnaround (except a slightly
better shooting pct. and assists per game for the balance of the season).
Battie also looks like a "buy low, sell high" , but he's been the very
definition of inconsistency in the past. There are several people on this list
whom I bet would be really competitive in this sort of league. I'd also love
for "Way Way" to sign up, just out of morbid curiosity.
