Re: walker

I'll be happy to give you some game videos if you ever pass through Paris.
Actually, my wife's brothers may be in Amsterdam in a few weeks. Anyway I
agree with your post that Antoine needs to show some fire...at least some
sign that he gives a damn. I have no problem with that. With Fortson out of
the lineup, it infuriates me that the 6-9 Antoine would let a 6-5 rookie do
all the dirty work of leading the team in rebounds (and assists). Antoine's
attitude seems to be: "Adrian I'm not going to break my back anymore doing
the things you do, but just make sure I get to take enough shot attempts to
at least outscore you."

I think Jim Mennino sounds about right in saying that Toine has been reined
in by Pitino all year, and that a lot of his competitiveness (to go get
rebounds etc) has been mysteriously lost in the translation. Eventually,
Toine has to add one plus one together (playing under control while playing
with total aggression). Things should be more clear once Fortson returns
and Antoine's role on the first or second team becomes better defined.
Antoine can eventually be a very great and productive player on a
championship team, one would think.

I find it hard to suddenly forget the 18 defensive boards against the
Magic, 10 offensive rebounds against the Grizzlies, 49 points on Webber
(and Howard), 13 assists at Philly, 17 trips to the free throw line
against the Lakers, five games with five steals, back-to-back triple
doubles etc. etc., regardless of how bad the Celts teams he played on were.
