I like what Pervis has done this year, he's been a pleasant surprise. I think he is probably our best low post defender. He has done a nice job in limited minutes. He gives us defense and rebounding when Pot and Battie get in foul trouble. Plus his contract's up after this year. Why take on Derek's contract when we dont't have to. Keep your options flexible. We have Fortson, we don't need Strong.
