Vitaly Potapenko will be traded to the Indiana Pacers and not Antoine
Walker in a trade involving Dale Davis and Al Harrington with Rik Smits'
career more likely over than anything.

Also Pervis Ellison may be headed to the Orlando Magic with a future
draft pick [I dont know if it will be a first or second round pick] for
Derek Strong.

Yeah, but if this happens, who play's center for the Celtics?  Dale Davis?
And what would all of the Potapenko-proponents have to say about
such a trade?

One thing is for sure--if Pitino were to pull the trigger on such moves, he
would be certifiably insane [well, perhaps not for unloading Pervis  :) ]. 
So much for lineup continuity and enabling players to get acclimated to
"the system."
