I would like something like this a lot, because I have a bad feeling
that some of Pierce's strengths might be neutralized (or at least,
mitigated) by having him in the backcourt.  This type of trade would have
two obvious positive ramifications:

1      a starting caliber shooting guard would be added to the roster,
whereas there are none now
2      our perimeter game would improve exponentially
