My guess is that Walker, and he better still be with the team, will be the
secondary, if not 1a ballhandler, Pierce the third option.

If Pierce had to deal with the extra handling, I'd have similar worries.
Frankly, Pierce brought the ball up more than Ron did last year, and Walker more
than Pierce.

Folks forget that Walker is an incredibly complete player, limited only by
himself.  He can _do_ everything.

Can Pierce start at the 2 guard and play confidently? He'll be handling the
ball much more. He'll be asked to make more decisions. We know he has raw
talent. He showed promise in the summer leagues, but that's not under
season fire. I think he is the only question mark on the team now. If he
blends, nothing but good will come of it. I would hate to see a young
player of his ability after having an excellent rookie year become
frustrated in a strange position. But this trade just looks so good,
there's no reason to be a pessimist.
