Two that got away

In case you didn't hear, the two free agents that Pitino expressly said he was
interested in have both signed elsewhere. Michael Curry and his devastating
scoring went back to Detroit, while Phoenix has just signed Rodney Rogers. The
Suns should have an interesting club next year, especially if they somehow get
Penny. 

I wonder if this will fan the tired flames about how free agents don't want to
sign with the Celtics. Or if Pitino was just "laughin' and lyin'" all along
about wanting those guys -- it surely doesn't seem like his style to tip his
hand so early. Or, if he'll now panic and trade the entire starting lineup for
Spanky Walker and a case of tuna fish.
