The real point of interest

The real dispute here is with the agents and not the players. The Union
is actually representing the interests of the agents, and that is why it
has not decertified. Last time around, Falk wanted to decertify. Now,
his clients are in control of the union and he is supporting the union.

What is the interest of the Union, to get the best deal for all its
members. How many can take advantage of the LB exeception? Not very
many. If it was looking out for the full membership, it would be
negotiating a higher minimum salary, etc. that insured that almost all
its members got more in the long run. It also would have 5 year rookie
contracts with some limits and give cost certainty, and more money for
the middle class players.

But the sticking point is the exception that benifits Ewing, Jordan and
other famous labor rights activists. I am sure they were on the lines
with GM workers or others on strike. Yeah right.

The general player who makes up the membership are being had, but it
ain't by the owners.
