My mistake; although you could have phrased your original reply
better. It was kind of ambiguous.

I pretty much got the impression it was Walker and only Walker,
but that's probably because I read a couple of stories where only
Walker's name was mentioned

As the scout that Bulpett interviewed pointed out, he was greatly
restricted by the Kansas system. He will be a Grant Hill type on
the pro level. The 9 teams drafting ahead of Boston that bypassed him
will rue that draft day for the next 15 years.

Yes I am, but NBA Vice president Thorn takes a dim view on management
personnel making any comments about players during the lockout, so I
must disguise my identity. Had you going, didn't I? You have every
right to state any opinion you want, but any discussions of Pierce for
Grant is dumb because:

1) Pierce is worth a lot more than Grant at the moment. His value
seems to have gone up post-draft, as compared to Antoine, who's numerous
problems and upcoming free agency have plunged his value
to a all-time low, so that a Grant may be all that 'Toines worth at the
moment.

2) Pierce is insurance for Walker. The C's can't do anything with
Pierce, until they rectify the Walker situation.

3) Pierce will be a Grant Hill type, so why would you even bother
discussing him in a trade. He's a keeper.
