Public Sentiment??

Public sentiment, I don't think so. Even those not aware of sports
salaries, do know that they are handsomely, compensated for their talents.
They also see a crack in the foundation of many sports due to huge salary
expenses. All franchises are not lucky enough to be in Boston, NY, or LA,
to reap the huge bucks. Some franchises are not doing well, mostly due to
over-expansion. Revenue sharing works fairly well, but is not the answer to
borderline teams.

Players better wake up and force the Union to negotiate seriously, and
fairly. It's easy for Ewing and the other upper level salaried players to
hold out, but eventually the others will begin to miss the checks.
