Kenny Anderson on The Last Word

Flipping through the channels last night, I caught the end of a "Last Word"
segment with Kenny Anderson and Rod Strickland. Anderson made a couple of
interesting comments

- When asked if he would ever want to be the starting guard in New York (the
mecca of basketball, according to the VJ) Anderson said he was happy where
he was, and it is close enough to New York for him.

- When asked if Pitino gave him enough freedom, Anderson said yes, all coach
asked for was for him to be in shape. He said Pitino was giving him "free
reign" to do his thing.

- The VJ asked the two who was best (their numbers are almost identical).
Both deferred to the other.

- Both said the lockout could hurt the NBA with the fans.

- One interesting thing Anderson said about schoolyard ball in NYC... He
said that "their are guys playing pickup ball in NYC who could play in the
NBA.

I agree, if you call what Lloyd Daniels does "playing"
