My son called me (from college, somewhere) to tell me the Bird
induction was on TV.  He said he wished he had taped some of the
highlights to show his friends.  He lives in the Jordan era, alongside
those who never saw Bird or Magic, much less Hondo or Russ.  "Bird's
the best I've ever seen," he said.  "Besides,  he did so much more
than Jordan."

Did I raise the boy right, or what?
