The players mislead with half a truth

The players mislead the public with half a truth, they are not on
strike. This is true. But they want the public to be sympathetic with
them. They "just want to play." The spin doctors at work. The players
agreed to a contract that allowed the collective bargaining agreement to
be reopened. The owners are within their rights. And the players have
not indicated any willingness to bargain. Rather, they want to increase
their share of the pie and keep the Bird exception. Again I say, a pox
on both their houses, but heap it oup on the players as they try to bs
the public.
