NBA Rumours - Antoine Walker Mentioned

- After the lockout the Cavs plan on signing the oft-injured Laphonso Ellis,
whom they see as a perfect compliment to Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Shawn Kemp.

- Milwaukee rookie Robert Traylor has managed to stay on his diet, and is
looking thinner than ever.

- Future Dallas draftee: While in China as a goodwill ambassador for the NBA
Don Nelson saw a 7-4 Chinese basketball player who may eventually play in
the NBA.

- When his NBA career is over, David Robinson would like to go into prison
ministry.

- Ex-Celtic Chris Ford has become a leading candidate for the Clippers'
coaching vacancy. Should he be named coach, his influence will be limited as
the brilliant Elgin Baylor will still call the shots.

- Both the Trailblazers' Damon Stoudamire and coach Mike Dunleavy "downplayed"
the possibility of the Blazers aquiring Antoine Walker, a rumour mentioned in
in a ESPN magazine article. "'We already have a lot of young guys', Dunleavy
said. 'I think we need someone who can provide more leadership.'

"Stoudamire believes the chemistry of the Blazers would be adversely affected
by the addition of Walker.

"'We don't need him,' Stoudamire said. 'He is good, but he wouldn't be right
for our team. The way our guys are laid back, and I know the way is
personality is. I don't think he would fit in here. I don't think guys would
take to him.'"

No one disses our main Celtics homeboy Antoine Walker and gets away with it.
Why would Antoine want to play for the crime-ridden Jail Blazers. Antoine's
too classy for those underachieving clowns. Kick the Blazers ass when the
lockout's over Antoine. Kick their mediocrity-loving Ass. Those coke-
snorting, spousal-abusing infidels don't deserve a basketball stud like you.

Besides Antoine's not going anywhere, we've been assured by Il Duce that it's
going to be the Big Four - Walker, Mercer, Pierce, and Anderson - and the
addiction of a quality free agent center, leading the Green team into the
playoffs this season.
