I wouldn't do the deal even if Portland takes Pervis, Minor etc with Walker,
because to win it all in a team needs to have the best player in the NBA. No
way will anyone confuse Rasheed Wallace, Brian Grant etc with Malone, McHale
etc. Walker has the potential to be one of the best players in the NBA,
trading him for a good player will relegate us to the category of also rans.
Pitino had reasons to trade him earlier because of a general lack of talent,
with Pierce on board that has been addressed so what is the reason now?
Money! Well if Gaston is going to be penny pincher then trust me we won't
win another championship for a while..Pitino or no Pitino. - Mishra
