Anderson

Everyone seems to think that the Celtics season is riding on whether
they sign a big man, or Walker stays, or if Mercer and Pierce step it up
to an All-star level, but none of these factors is the key to the
Celtics season. The key to the Celtics season is Kenny Anderson.
People tend to forget what happened after he came on the scene. First
game there he helped defeat the Sonics. And Walker shot 40% without
Kenny and 48% from the field with Kenny.

Beside that remember when he and Coleman brought the Nets to the
playoffs. Walker's as good as Coleman, and the Nets didn't have a
Mercer or Pierce, so the playoffs are well in reach without a big man.

Finally remember Anderson if a NY playground legend, who Red Auerbach
has compared to another NY playground legend, Nate Archiabald. He was a
second team All-American in his Freshman and Sophomore years before
going on to being the second pick of the draft by NJ. He has the skills
and talent to be the best point guard in the NBA. And in this system he
could end up being it, since it fits him like a glove.
