FWD: Top Ten Picks - Version Two

1. LA Clippers: Mike Bibby
Seems to be a lock for this position, unless there's a massive deal,
and someone trades up and selects Olowokandi.

2. Vancouver Grizzlies: Paul Pierce
Perhaps, he's better suited to be a NBA small forward, but his all-around
skills should help him develop into a more than competent off guard.

3. Denver Nuggets: Michael Olowokandi
A match made in heaven, and it allows Dean Garret to come off the bench, where
    he'll be a valuable reserve.

4. Toronto Raptors: Raef LaFrentz
With the possibility of Camby being dealt, and the need for a rebounder, this
pick makes a lot of sense.

5. Golden State Warriors: Larry Hughes
His stock is rising, and someone has to replace Sprewell.

6. Dallas Mavericks: Lamar Odom
Another Don Nelson shocker, as the Mavs bypass POY Antawn Jamison for a Penny
    Hardaway new wave guard.

7. Sacramento Kings: Vince Carter
    Best guard available.

8. Philadelphia 76's: Robert Traylor
While Larry Brown is intrigued by Jamison's athleticism, he's disheartened by
lack of position and limited shooting range, so he takes Tractor who's wowing
    everyone in the team workouts.

9. Milwaukee Bucks: Antawn Jamison
Too good to pass up, even if he doesn't really fulfil a need.

10. Boston Celtics: Dirk Nowitzki
The Germanic Tom Chambers teams with Antoine to form the highest scoring forward
    tandem in the NBA.

                            ______________

In other news, Dan Issel is trying to acquire ex-Celtic Chauncey Billups from
Toronto. So far, the Raptors have been underwhelmed by the Nuggets offers.
