PACERS/BULLS

This is not the Celtics, but if anyone watched the Pacers/Bulls game
today did you wonder why Larry doesn't just play his second team as his
first?
You may not believe this, but I've never seen Oprah's show. I never
watch daytime television except for sports (actually, that's about all I
watch on TV anyway). I admire Oprah in many ways, but these shows make
their living off other people's grief, many times. I'm sure we'll never
really know the story behind many of these sports stars' personal
problems with wives, girlfriends, etc. and I, for one, am tired of the
whole scene. I certainly don't condone any man hitting a woman, never
did, never will, and if a man ever hit me I'd hit him back with a
baseball bat! As far as the rest of it goes, I think many times the
women are less than they would have you believe, also. Why did Oprah
choose this particular time to do this show about Larry's daughter?
Because his team's in the playoffs. Dirty pool! That's an old story
and one which has been written of before. Larry will probably never be
willing to tell his side of things, so let it be their business. It's
none of ours and takes nothing away from his being one of the best
basketball players to ever grace the parquet or any other floor.
