Chris Herren and the Celts draft

Hey y'all.

Figuring the C's are drafting probably 10 or 11, and are looking for a PF
or center, here are the likely candidates: Robert Traylor, Keon Clark,
Michael Doleac, Brian Skinner, and Nazr Mohammed. Who do you think they
should draft out of these guys?

The one I see as highly unlikely is Traylor because he is built for the
halfcourt game, not for getting up and down the floor. Better for a team
like the Houston Rockets. I can't see Pitino wanting him. Clark and
Skinner are athletic, active big guys who can block shots and rebound.
Skinner is the better scorer of the two, and is a more polished player.
Doleac is a great shooter and has good post moves. He is also 265, a guy
with much needed weight down low.

As for Mohammed, he is a tough call. He looked great at the end of the
season, and he has a soft touch down low and has that old style hook shot.
The bad news is that he's still really learning the game, and has played
very little quality basketball. He just began to start for Kentucky at
the middle of the season. He really should stay another year. Too bad we
will have to make the call on him. He's really a power forward at 6'10
without great athleticism. At least Pitino knows him well, he coached him
for 2 years. He looks like he could be very good with time.

Did you hear that Chris Herren from Fall River and Durfee High is
declaring for the draft? What do you think? I wish he could've stayed at
BC. Noe of the crap that happened last year would've happened and I think
they would've been a top 15, maybe top 10 team. Jimmy O'Brien would also
still be the coach. Not that Al Skinner is doing a bad job. I think
Herren can make it in the NBA, he is a monster taking it to the rack. I
like his game and his demeanor on the court. But he's another guy who
should stay for his senior season and be the focus of his team next year.
He has only played 2 years of D I ball. He said he may go back if he's
not drafted in the first round. I will be very surprised if he does get
taken in the first round.
