i agree 100%. from what i have heard about geiger in the last couple days
i dont think the celtics should make a run at him. i heard that during
halftime at their last playoff game he was seen in the arena bar with
david falk drinking a brew. whats that all about. pitino dumped eric
williams for a bag of chips just because he missed some wieght training
appointments. if geiger ever pulled that crap with pitino he would be gone
in a heartbeat. pitino has a very important decision to make with this
free agent summer. if he cant find anyone worthwhile to invest in, keep
the team as is, draft big in the draft (ie. doleac, mohammad) and take
your lumps for one more year until a more attractive free agent comes
along. it makes no sense to spend 10 mil a year on a guy like geiger with
a bad attitude. he may be the best center available, but he looks like too
big of a gamble to take right now. dont mortgage the future.
